| Sodium sulfide Application Summaries
Our factory applied sodium sulfide instead of sodium sulfite in cross-linking agent DCP production. The results show that, the application of sodium sulfide has no effect on the cross-linking agent DCP, and greatly reduce the cost of production.

We used sodium sulfide instead of sodium sulfite as the reducing agent used in production, results show that sodium sulfide instead of sodium sulfite, can reduce the reaction time and production cost. In actual production, we define the reaction temperature should not exceed 75 ℃, oxidation liquid feeding could be one-time delivery, also by fed-batch upon reaction conditions. The high temperature of oxidation liquid and one-time delivery has no influence on the final quality and safety of product, and with Na2S (sodium), batch yield of crude CA is higher for 3% than prepared by Na2SO3 reaction. Na2S as a new reductant has several prominent role:
1 It do not affect the production and safety for a few steps afterward,especially without affecting the normal synthesis reaction is ;
2. It do not affect the final product quality of DCP;
3. It do not increase the products and other auxiliary materials consumption, on the opposite, it is also beneficial to product consumption without any increase;
4. It decrease operation difficulty.
At present, the main raw material DCP domestically is production of cumene hydroperoxide (CHP), by reduction, evaporation, crystallization, drying system. |
