Characteristic:White rhombic crystal of powder.The melting point is approximately 287℃.It is easily dissolved in the water,alcohol and acetone.The aqueous solution shows neutrality.It can produces blood-red ferric thiocyanate with molysite and does not react with ferrite.It produces yellow sodium thiocyanate with concentrated sulfuric acid and blue-black cobalt thiocyanate with cobalt salt .It produces mercuric silver salt nantokite.It is easily deliquesced in the air so it should be sealed for storage.
Applications: General :Mainly used in sectors of pharmaceuticals pesticede,synthetic fiber ,electeroplating,phogography,accelerator for cement etc
Fiber industry:as spinning sovelent for polyacrylonitrile
Architecture industry:hardening accelerator for cement and concrete mixes
