dicyclopentadiene by
hydrogenation followed by acid-
catalysed skeletal rearrangement.
Adamantane is used in some dry
etching masks,and in some
polymers formulations.

in medicine,such as amantadine,
memantine and rimantadine,and
their unique structures have the
possibility to be applied to
produce a broad range of
biologically and pharmaceutically
active drugs such as anticancer
