Brief Introduction
LSA is produced by grinding
Sulpho-Aluminate Cement (SAC) as
its main content and a certain
amount of gypsum with some
admixture. Its is a super quick
setting, rapid hardening and
early strength material. Its
properties are based on the
specifications of SAC, the
expansible ettringite
(C3A3CaSO42H2O)will be formed
when LSA mixed with admixed such
as gypsum. It can produce stress
round the body when filled it in
clink or hole, so the binding
place will not produce shrinkage
and crack. Its fast setting and
rapid hardening than SAC makes it
most suitable for used in leak
stopping. The strength
development indicated in minute.
There are so many types of LSA
in the market, however, most of
them produced by alunite as their
raw materials which content a
number of basicity, building life
will be low in case out of the
basicity control exactly. Our LSA
used SAC as its raw material
without any expansion admixture,
a slight expansion is to be
emerged by itself and can be
stopping leakage, so a last and
safe building can be guaranteed.
It is an ideal leak-stopping
material with safety,
reliability, effectualness and
rapidity. It is most suitable for
use in emergency stopping water
and leakage repair project such
as underground project, tunnel,
culvert, mine, boat and house,
etc.
Usage and Attention
1.Try to find the leak place and
chisel it into vertical bell,
then clear away the odds and ends
round the place.
2. Pour one bag (2kgs) of LSA and
0.6-0.7kgs of water into
container such as pan of basin
etc., then stir them into plaster.
3. Press the plaster with your
hand or other object on the leak
place direction promptly, dont
loosen your grip till few
minutes. Generally, leakage may
be stopped with 10 minutes.
4. After stopping, ordinary
Portland cement mortar can be
used in daub on the surface, then
curing 3 days,
5. LSA can be poured direly into
leak place of pool or cabin, then
trample it with our foot or put
an object on the place within few
minutes until hardening.
6. Drain can be used in the
situation of serious leak. First,
stop upper crack, then stop down
crack and drainage hole.
7. If leak area largest, the leak
spots should be found and stopped
it first, then mixed LSA with
retarder about 0.5% into grout
and plaster the surface.
8. The water must be controlled
strictly during mixing LSA with
water, avoid the grout too thin.
9. Oozy water and accumulative
water in the leak place must be
drained away.
10. LSA should be stored in dry
place, avoid to be affected with
damp and avoid to be caught in
water. It should be used be up
after opening the bag.
11. Packing: PE bag of 2.0kgs net
each, then put 10 bags into one
carton.
