Properties
Pure carbendazim is a white
crystal powder, while the
technical have tow color white
and gray, begins sublime at 215-
217 degree centigrade, melts over
290 degree centigrade, its
decomposition is 306 degree
centigrade. Insoluble in water,
slightly soluble in acetone,
chloroform and some other organic
solvents. Soluble in inorganic
acids and acetic acid, meantime
forming salts. Its chemical
properties are stable.
Uses
Carbendazim is a systemic broad-
spectrum fungicide controlling a
wide range of pathogens; it also
can be use as a preservative in
textile, papermaking, leathers,
and painter industry as well as a
preservative of fruits.
Toxicity
Low toxic, acute oral LD50 to
mice is more than 10000mg/kg.
