Air & Water Reactions Decomposes rapidly in water.
Reactivity Profile 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid is incompatible with strong oxidizers. 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid is corrosive to metals.
Health Hazard Dust may irritate eyes. Ingestion causes gastroentric distress, diarrhea, mild central nervous system depression, dysphagia, and possible transient liver and kidney injury.
Fire Hazard Special Hazards of Combustion Products: Toxic and irritating hydrogen chloride or phosgene gases may form. |
